Tour de Bronx

Join 6,000 cyclists and hit the road for the Tour de Bronx, the largest free cycling event in New York State.

Presented by the Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and Transportation Alternatives and produced by the Bronx Tourism Council, the Tour de Bronx promotes bicycling and pedestrian environmentally-friendly methods of travel.

Choose a 25 or 40 mile route through diverse and vibrant Bronx neighborhoods.

The 40 mile

This fast-paced ride goes through Pelham Bay Park, City Island, and the grounds of SUNY Maritime College. See the Bronx as you've never seen it before! The 40-mile ride is recommended for experienced cyclists comfortable riding in traffic.

The 25 mile

A leisurely ride that's great for every age and skill level. Enjoy Bronx Greenway bike paths, parklands, shoreline and more. Riders will be accompanied by marshals and NYPD escorts. This family-friendly ride is a great way to see the Bronx from behind your handlebars.

The 2015 tour starts at the Bronx County Building at Grand Concourse & 161st Street and ends with a music festival at the New York Botanical Garden
